Well I went in the theater actually expecting this to be a trainwreck and it was quite enjoyable. Entertaining in the Hollywood sense, if a little longer than I would have liked. Well-written story, solid but nothing groundbreaking. Very pretty those CG mountains and trees and flying lizards. And it's got Sigourney Weaver. Worth seeing it in the theater!

I'm feeling better now, thank you all for your kind words and advice on my last few posts, they really helped and I'm thankful for all of you. Princess and the Frog, the latest (and some say last) 2d animated movie from Disney is out, and it's actually pretty excellent. I had low expectations going in and I enjoyed it thoroughly, me who hates musicals. And naturally I loooooved Louis. A little too Jello at times, but regardless, the animation was spotless. Definitely worth watching in the theater.

What an amazing film!
I went going not knowing what to expect at all. I think it will become a classic among geeks for sure.

My take on it is. "Pocahontas meets Fern gully".

Just eye candy after eye candy and seeing it in 3D made it that much better.

Certainly a movie for those who adore fantasy (WoW Players etc).

So yeah, go see it ;)

That's currently up in the air.

My landlady's sister's cat Max. He was a good kitty. A grouchy old kitty, but still awesome.

None. The furtherest I drove was to Waterbury, Connecticut.

A stable job. A girlfriend.

January 29th, the day I got laid off.

Well just this Sunday/Monday I suffered from 24 hour bug that had me in a porcelain grip. And resulted in me leaving my first day at work a bit early. Not to worry, I return for Friday & Saturday.

A comment here would be much appreciated so I can get a general feel for who is going. Also, I can note ya my phone number so you can find me when ya get there!

There are also food places in the area, such as the Tick Tock diner right across the street and a sushi place a block or two down.

SO, to summarize:

When: Friday at 7:55pm. (Although I will probably be there around 7 to purchase tickets and gather peoples)

Where: AMC Loews at 34th st. in New York City (You can take the A or the C there as far as I know, it's right next to Penn station.) It's on the corner of 34th st and 8th ave!

I thought I knew who they were, I don't anymore. A friend hurt me pretty badly two weekends ago in something that falls somewhere between a misunderstanding and a booze-related folly where I ended up feeling worthless and used. I figured once he sobered up he'd come to his senses and we'd talk about it and work things out seeing as how I can forgive almost anything if someone is wasted. He didn't, he's still mad and I he expects some sort of apology which he's not getting because I didn't do anything wrong.

He won't talk to me and even if he would I don't know how I can explain my side without him getting defensive. I weighed the options and tried long and hard, and though I really like him as a person, I can't disprove the feelings I had that night of being used. I can't think of a single time where he's gone out of his way to do something for me, and I only hear from him when he either wants something or is in town to hang out with mutual friends and they suggest inviting me along for something.

Either way, if he wants to let something stupid like the other week ruin a friendship so be it. However, it doesn't end there. Apparently since I upset him someone else I really care about won't talk to me either. He wasn't even there but said that since I upset his best friend he's angry with me too. This is someone who in turn, has been there for me, and up until this incident I considered him one of my best friends. I don't know what he is now.

I'm so confused my head is spinning. I'm wounded and upset and I don't even know how to begin fixing things, or if it's even worth it. Maybe I'm just meant to go back to being alone, with noone close enough to hurt me. Names weren't mentioned for good reason, and I'm screening comments.
